    <title>Olympic Dreams on Hold for Cumberlands Women's Wrestlers</title>

    <description>Five members of the University of the Cumberlands Women's Wrestling Program earned the right to compete in the Olympic Team Trials held in Las Vegas, NV on June 13, 2008.  While each lady performed admirably, their Olympic dreams were halted as the ladies were unable to pin the gold needed to advance. </description>

Although they'll be 2022 miles away from the University of the Cumberlands, it won't be a problem for family, friends, teammates, and classmates to watch them compete. </description>

    <title>Patriot Women Wrestlers to Compete in Olympic Team Trials</title>

    <description>The University of the Cumberlands has helped set the standard for collegiate women's wrestling in the United States.  Patriot head coach Kip Flanik has produced numerous national titles and All-Americans.  Perhaps the most heralded honor for the Cumberlands was All-American/National Champion Toccara Montgomery qualifying for the U.S. Olympic team in 2004.  Montgomery is the only Patriot to ever qualify and wrestle in the Olympics.</description>

    <description>The University of the Cumberlands Women's Wrestling Team has been named as the best team in the country by TheMat.com for the February rankings of the U.S. Women's College Wrestling Poll. The Patriot Ladies overtook last month's #1 ranked team, Oklahoma City University (OCU), after defeating OCU on January 26th with an overall team score of 27-14.</description>
