UC's Shemwell Builds for a Cause

University of the Cumberlands cheerleader Amy Shemwell (Trenton, KY), however, plans to spend her time after graduation participating in various outreach projects to benefit area communities.

Patriot Cheerleaders Take Second in Conference

Cheerleaders from the University of the Cumberlands competed for the 2008 Mid-South Conference Championship title on March 7, 2008, in Pikeville, Kentucky. The cheer competition was held in conjunction with the annual men and women's MSC Basketball Tournaments that began on Saturday, March 8, 2008. Once inside the East Kentucky Expo Center, the Patriot cheerleaders put on a fantastic performance earning a second place trophy.

UC Cheerleading Earns Six All-Conference Honors

Cheerleaders from the University of the Cumberlands competed for the 2007 Mid-South Conference Championship title on March 1, 2007, in Frankfort, Kentucky. The squad placed third behind Campbellsville University and Georgetown College and earned six All-Conference honors.

The University of the Cumberlands (formally Cumberland College) Cheerleading squad traveled to Pikeville, Kentucky to compete in the Mid-South Conference Cheer Championships last night. The cheer competition was held in conjunction with the annual men and women's MSC Basketball Tournaments that began on Thursday, March 2, 2006. Once inside the East Kentucky Expo Center, the Patriot cheerleaders pepped up the crowd and the judges and were honored with a third place trophy.
