Students who are drawn to this project through their love of children will be astonished with the unexpected emotional and spiritual rewards of their service. As an additional, practical benefit, those who participate in Appalachian Ministries may apply their time as community service hours toward a Leadership/Service Transcript. Want to get involved?Meet at the Angel Dale House on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday at 4:30 for the community outreaches.

Established in 1975, Appalachian Ministries gives students the opportunity to minister to area children, youth and families. Under the direction of the Appalachian Ministries director, student workers pick up and take participating children to local churches to lead them in recreation, crafts, games, and Bible lessons.
