Dr. James Bowling Key
Associate Professor of Health, Exercise and Sport Science

 

 

 

Dr. James Bowling Key, originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, holds three degrees from Middle Tennessee State University: a B.S. in Health, Physical Education and Recreation, an M. Ed. In Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Safety, and a D.A. in Physical Education. He joined the Cumberland College faculty in 1984, and in 1997 was presented with the William T. Miles Award for Community Service.

Dr. Key is a member of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD), the Kentucky Association for HPERD, the Council on Physical Education for Children, the American Association for Active Lifestyles and Fitness, the American Association for Leisure and Recreation, and the National Association for Sport and Physical Education.
