Since joining the Cumberland College faculty in 2000, Mr. "Moe" Conn has won the reputation not only as the man who can build almost anything, but as a gifted instructor able to communicate his skills to his students.

At Missouri Valley College, Mr. Conn majored in Theatre, earning a B.A. in 1993. He completed an M.A. in Technical Theatre and Scene Design at Lindenwood University in 1996, and in 2003, he completed his MFA.

Maurice “Moe” Conn (Designer/Technical Director) Is an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Cumberland College located on the Campus of the University of the Cumberlands, in Williamsburg, KY. He has been working professionally in technical theatre since 1993. He has worked as Properties Master, Technical Director for the Post Playhouse in Crawford, NE, Production Manager for Kentucky Shakespeare Festival in Louisville KY, Assistant Technical Director for The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse in Chicago, IL, and as a Designer for St. Louis Community College at Forest Park, in St. Louis, MO, St. Charles Community College in St. Charles, MO, Missouri Valley College in Marshall, MO. His design credits include: The Fantasticks, The Boys Next Door, Oklahoma!, The Sound of Music, and The Secret Garden, to name a few. Moe is a member of United States Institute for Theatre Technologies and serves on the Long Reach Long Riders Charity motorcycle ride as a board member.
