John Newberry
After graduating from the University of the Cumberlands in May of 2009, John went on to an internship in Texas where he worked on a deer breeding ranch. In this internship he helped with the breeding, raising, and overall care for the deer at the ranch.
After a three month internship John moved to the Seattle, Washington area and began working for the Washington Conservation Corps (WCC) helping to increase salmon populations through habitat restoration. John has recently finished a one year stint with the WCC and has been rehired to do another year of service with them. His contract extension will end in September 2011.
