Beta Beta Beta

The Beta Beta Beta (Tri-Beta) Honor Society is a national honor and professional society for students in the biological sciences. The Beta Sigma chapter at University of the Cumberlands strives to stimulate interest, scholarly advancement, and investigation in the biological sciences, and to promote dissemination of information and new interpretations among students of the life sciences. Tri-Beta meets on the first Monday of each month. Programs include featured speakers, field trips, service projects, and the Biology senior seminar presentations.
Qualifications for REGULAR MEMBERSHIP include:

Biology major

Completion of at least 3 courses in the biological sciences (at least 1 of which is not a freshman level course)

Minimum overall and biology grade point average of 3.0
Qualifications for ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP include:

Completion of one semester of college work

Biology major or minor
