Mr. Jared Tackett

Jared Tackett, from Jenkins, Kentucky, is a 2006 graduate of University of the Cumberlands. While in the university's Art program, he had a strong interest in field sketching, watercolor painting, digital imaging, and photography. After graduation, Jared attended Virginia Tech, earning a Masters of Architecture degree. Shortly after graduation, he began working at Richardson Associates Architects, an architecture firm in Whitesburg, Kentucky. As an Architect in Training fulfilling a multitude of roles, such as designer, marketing, construction management, and photography, Jared is the newest member to the award winning design team. When he gets the chance, he visits local high schools to not only educate art students about architecture, but to encourage students to pursue the arts after high school, either as a career, or for leisure, or both!
