The Hutton School of Business (HSB) offers majors and minors in business administration, accounting or management information systems. In any of these fields, you will find a healthy and challenging learning environment to develop your unique interests and talents and prepare you for a position of leadership in the 21st century global market place.

One of the newest buildings on campus, HSB features classrooms equipped with the latest media, audio and data transmission technology. In small classes you will study with faculty members who keep abreast of rapid changes in business and who are actively involved in the business community as financial advisors, tax consultants, officers of professional organizations and members of corporate boards of directors. You may also earn from three to fifteen credit hours and gain practical work experience through corporate internships.

Opportunities outside the classroom include an annual two-day business forum, when several business leaders and entrepreneurs come to campus to speak to the department’s junior and seniors. Students attend presentations, and student business leaders have an opportunity to talk with the presenters one-on-one.

A Hutton School of Business Accounting degree prepares graduates for potential careers in public and corporate accounting, tax planning and compliance, auditing, internal auditing/fraud examiner, information systems, management advising services, and government agencies such as the  FBI, ATF and IRS.
